“Your love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on me…In death and in life I’m confident and covered by the power of your great love…My debt is paid there’s nothing that can separate my heart from your great love”
This is what we are singing this Easter morning. The Resurrection of Jesus is a proof of this great love that God has for us. Death could not stop or hold Him.
That He would die for us is one thing, that death could not hold Him is an entirely different matter. To me, that means there is no one or no-thing stronger than He, no one or no thing that can keep Him from loving me, or separate Him from me.
” For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He now lives and gives us power for everyday living. It should have been my tomb, my death. Today, I have new life, because of Him. Check it out here.
